（4） The story of Crocodiles
鳄鱼在动物进化过程中，经历了亿万年的时间，具备了超乎寻常的本领。每年夏季，羚羊、斑马等动物进行大迁徙的时候，也正是鳄鱼大显身手，大快朵颐的时候。
Crocodiles have experienced hundreds of millions of years in the process of animal evolution, and have extraordinary abilities. Every summer, when animals like antelope and zebra migrate, it is also the time for crocodiles to show their own hands and enjoy their food.
成千上万的迁徙的动物们，大多数是食草动物，它们总是追随茂盛的牧草而居。而此时的鳄鱼，早已经是饥肠辘辘。在过河的过程中，总有些食草动物落入鳄鱼的腹中。鳄鱼在进食时，因为它没有咀嚼功能，所以，每次进食时，它就剧烈、快速的旋转身体，把大块的肉撕扯下来，直接吞进胃里。

有时，我会想，如果人类也有这种功能该多好，哪怕是一生换10次牙也行啊，那会给我们少添多少麻烦呀！可是，人家鳄鱼是经过了亿万年进化过程中练就的本领。而我们人类的历史，还不及鳄鱼的历史长。难怪，我们人类在某些方面赶不上鳄鱼。鳄鱼已经进化的相当完美，人类却仍在不断地进化过程中。
Sometimes, I would think, if human beings also have this function how good, even if it is a lifetime to change teeth also can, that will give us how much trouble! However, crocodiles have been trained in the course of hundreds of millions of years of evolution. And our human history is not as long as crocodiles.
